Event Info

Explore annual grasslands and oak woodlands in the Cordelia Hills between Vallejo and Fairfield. Hikers will be guided on a 3-hour outing with opportunities to observe restored riparian wetlands and cattle grazing operations as well as local wildlife. The hike will include a section of the Bay Area Ridge Trail, a major regional trail linking parks and open spaces around the Bay Area. Be prepared for sunny and warm conditions.

Parking fee of $6.00 required for all vehicles
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or guardian
Bring water, sunscreen, hat, sturdy hiking shoes, snacks
Limited to 30 participants
